Question: If looking to purchase a residential property that has a pre-existing lease, should the agent make the lease available for viewing by the prospective purchaser?
The lease will certainly be available, but it is a residential lease the terms are all fairly standard. However, you have every right to know things like who pays the rate bills etc, these will be in the lease. Regards, Tim Thredgold
