Question: If looking to purchase a residential property that has a pre-existing lease, should the agent make the lease available for viewing by the prospective purchaser?

The lease will certainly be available, but it is a residential lease the terms are all fairly standard. However, you have every right to know things like who pays the rate bills etc, these will be in the lease.
